Wild Penwith Volunteers

Here's a little article about the volunteering project I was a part of a couple years ago in Cornwall. We completed tasks such as clearing scrub, building hedges and creating allotments. It was so much fun and I made really lovely friends; I'd love to be a part of something like this again. In september I am collecting money for the RSPB, so that's something, atleast!

Notes From a Rescue in Progress

This is a beautiful story about a rescued golden retriever named Roo who was in a very bad physical and mental state, but is being nurtured and nursed back to health and happiness.
So far, there are two parts, and both are incredibly written by her carer, Brian Beker, and make you feel so much love and heartache for poor Roo. I will link the next parts to the story as they are posted.

Roo

Why! :'(

It is always the good people and the animals, the most innocent and loving, that are the most unfortunate on this backwards planet. Rest in peace to everyone who lost their lives in the fire:

Welcome!

Welcome to my new blog! I've never done something like this before. I decided to create a place to post all the things I'm interested in for everyone to see, if they so choose, rather than putting it on Facebook to be lost or ignored.
I am Crystal! I'm studying BSc (Hons) Conservation Biology at Plymouth University. I'm passionate about conservation, wildlife, animal rights & welfare, helping the environment and leading a healthy, vegan lifestyle. I thought it would be a good idea to create this blog so I could share my thoughts & opinions, work, veganism & fitness information, interesting science, petitions for animal rights, inspirational quotes and more...
I hope you enjoy my future posts; there will be plenty to come!
